Not ones to shy away from fancy dress, here at Damart we’ve all dressed up in our wackiest pink costumes in aid of national Wear it Pink Day, supporting the Breast Cancer Campaign.
Everyone from the call centre staff to the financial directors have got into the spirit of things, wearing the brightest pink outfit they could find; there are certainly lots of comedy pink wigs and tutus on show!
Throughout the day there’s lots of activities to take part in, including tannoy bingo, quizzes, guess the amount of sweets in the jar and everyone’s favourite – the bun and cake stall!
These beautiful cupcakes that were baked by a member of the marketing team have definitely been the biggest hit…and to top it off, they taste even better than they look!
John Bottomley, Marketing Director at Damart commented, “This is one of our favourite days in the calendar as it means we can have lots of fun dressing up and still raise money for this worthwhile cause. Last year we raised just under £1,000 so fingers crossed we can raise even more this year.
This year, Damart’s limited edition Pink Vest is being modelled by Beverley Knight. Unfortunately the pink vest has exceeded all expectations and we've run out of stock...but do not panic, we've ordered some more and they should be with us very shortly!
