Damart proves to be a hit on the red carpet...

There’s always a buzz around outfit choices for the Oscars, but with Hollywood experiencing a cold snap at the moment, the fashion brand everyone was talking about was Damart.

On an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live over the weekend, the presenter was asked “what will everyone be wearing on the red carpet?” to which the response was “Damart!”

Maybe actresses such as Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway were wearing Damart thermals to keep the cold at bay, without spoiling the look of their show-stopping designer dresses.

Damart Welcomes New Bradford Bulls Player

Damart has provided a warm welcome to Bradford Bulls’ newest signing, French International and former Catalan Dragon’s player Olivier Elima, by supplying him with Damart Sport base layers to train in.
Marketing Director John Bottomley presented the base layers to Olivier to help him get accustomed to the chillier UK temperatures, making sure he’s fighting fit for the start of the new season this month.

John Bottomley said: “Bradford in the middle of winter can be a bit of a shock to the system, so we thought we’d help out with the transition with some of our base layers.

“We wish Olivier the best of luck for the new season and hope this is the best one yet for the Bradford Bulls.”

Damart Sport products will be available soon at http://www.damart.co.uk/.

Spare a little love for charity this Valentine’s Day

Support a worthy cause this Valentine’s Day with Damart’s ‘Love your Heart’ campaign, to raise money for Heart Research UK.

Modelled by TV-presenter, Katy Hill, the money raised from this gorgeous vest-top, designed by Damart, will be used to fund pioneering research in to the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease, the biggest killer among women in the UK.

Katy said, “I am thrilled to be the face of this campaign and support the fantastic work that Heart Research UK does. This cute vest-top makes a perfect Valentine’s Day gift and that’s why I’m urging everyone to make a difference and go out and buy it!”

This fitted, spaghetti-strap vest-top red fitted t-shirt, made from 100% cotton with red lace detail is perfect for wearing with jeans. Available in sizes 10 to 22, priced from £12 onwards - all profits go to the charity.

Damart’s Marketing Director John Bottomley said, “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Heart Research UK for a fourth year. We hope to not only raise as much money as possible for the charity, but also increase awareness about heart disease in order to help our customers, staff and women around the UK look after their hearts.”

Barbara Harpham, the national director of Heart Research UK, said: “To have Damart’s support is fabulous. Heart disease touches so many lives, some people are born with it and others develop it later in life, often through making unhealthy lifestyle choices. In fact around 270,000 people have heart attacks in the UK every year – that’s one every two minutes - and 1.6million people live with heart disease everyday. The money raised from this campaign will fund pioneering research to improve the treatment and techniques available.”

Think Pink this Summer

Coming Soon!               Buy this cardigan >

This time last year it was the clog that stole the show when it came to fashion. Every magazine and fashion blog we read advocated the wooden shoe; and even though we all knew how ugly they looked, it was ‘the’ fashion trend to be seen in.

This year, it seems like pink denim is having a bit of a fashion revival; at Isabel Marant’s spring catwalk show, models wore the softest pink, while Tommy Hilfiger has introduced a pink pair of chinos.

A nice idea; but perhaps not the most practical of colours for ladies over the age of 25! Luckily online fashion brand Damart is on hand with a few items which will make sure you’re fully up to date with the latest fashion craze.

Damart’s hot pink cardigan, £35, is a versatile addition to your wardrobe this season; perfect for the working week or a lazy weekend, its bang on trend without making you look like a walking Barbie!

For a more subtle nod to the trend, Damart’s statement bracelet is another fashion winner. Following the Pandora trend, this bracelet is decorated with jewelled charms and pretty beads, only £10.

Finish off this season’s hottest look with a slick of hot pink lipstick and enjoy being ahead of the fashion pack this season.
