Damart is pleased to be sponsoring local rugby club, the BEES, through its support of the Junior Rugby Programme.
We can look forward to seeing Damart’s logo proudly placed on the collars of the first team shirts from the beginning of next season as well as spotting Damart’s logo around the ground and in the match programme.
Damart’s Marketing Director, John Bottomley commented: “We have more than 800 staff in Bingley and Steeton and we are keen to support the local community in which we all work and live. We’re particularly impressed with The Bees’ commitment to developing young players and delighted to be helping support the Junior Rugby Programme at the club.”
The Bees’ director of rugby, Martin Whitcome said: “Our thriving Junior Rugby Programme attracts hundreds of children and Damart’s sponsorship will be invaluable in supporting the work we do with these youngsters some of whom, like Richard Scull who started with the under-7s, go on to play first team rugby at the club.”
The team is currently playing in the National Division 3 and we look forward to seeing them play at the first home match of the season on September 10th against Chester and of course sporting their new shirts!
