Midi skirts are emerging as a popular trend for spring/summer 2012. This could be in part due to retro television shows like Mad men and Pan Am. It’s the absolute buy this season. From jersey to denim, cotton to chiffon, casual to tailored - there is a skirt for everyone. 

If you want to show some leg, but not too much, this below the knee length style might be just what you are looking for. Many styles are A-line or flared in shape. This can be a very flattering style for pear shape ladies!

Swanning Around

It’s not everyday that you see a giant swan peddallo meandering down the Leeds-Liverpool canal, but as part of Sports Relief, two Radio Leeds presenters, Katherine Hannah and Adam Pope, are pedalling the gruelling route which measures 127 miles.

Damart were so impressed by their fundraising efforts, we too wanted to support them and help raise as much money as possible. To help keep them warm, we donated some of our famous thermals when they stopped by the bottom of Five Rise Locks. 

We also held an internal ‘celebrity mash up’ competition, where our staff had to guess who was who in a collage of celebrity facial parts.

As if that wasn’t enough, Damart staff got a shock when Adam came in to our HQ to read the results of the celebrity mash up test over the tannoy!

Well done Adam and Katherine, we hope your legs aren’t too tired by the end of it all!
